Dr. Matthew HC Otten
Director of Orthopedics & Orthobiologics
Dr. Otten is Board Certified in Sports medicine. After completing cardiology research with Harvard University and UCSF, Dr. Otten obtained his medical degree from Michigan State University. He has become a leader in the field of Orthobiologics since completing his sports medicine fellowship at Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Otten believes strongly in using the body’s own ability to heal itself. Dr. Otten chose Orthobiologics because it combines the fields of medicine and orthopedics that include stem cell therapies and other minimally invasive procedures. Nationally, he is widely regarded as a leader in the field of stem cell and platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapies. Currently, he serves as faculty for international conferences, trains and mentors physicians, lectures, and performs extensive clinical research. His goal is to continually advance the science and clinical applications of Orthobiologics. Dr. Otten’s philosophy was greatly influenced by his early work with Native Americans on the Crow Reservation in Montana. To this day his clinical work reflects that same dedication to his patients. Dr. Otten has performed over 30,000 Orthobiologic procedures including stem cell treatments and PRP therapies. He joins CELLAXYS as the Director of Orthopedics and Orthobiologics.
Dr. Pouya Mohajer
Director of Spine & Interventional Medicine
Pouya Mohajer, M.D. is Director of Spine and Interventional Medicine for CELLAXYS: Age, Regenerative, and Interventional Medicine Centers. He has over 20 years of experience and is widely-published in the fields of pain management, perioperative medicine, and anesthesiology. Mohajer founded and is Medical Director of Southern Nevada Pain Specialists and PRIMMED Clinics. He has dedicated his career to surgical innovation and scientific advancement. Dr. Mohajer has mentored the next generation of anesthesiologists through his affiliation with higher education. He holds board certification in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine. Dr. Mohajer is fellowship-trained in Pain Management from Harvard University’s Brigham and Woman’s Hospital. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center-Chicago. Dr. Mohajer is also a proud alumnus of University of California, Los Angeles and Finch University of Health Sciences. He has used his exemplary background to offer his patients dedicated care and effective modalities.
Dr. Pejman Bady
Dr. Pejman Bady began his career over 20 years ago in Family/Emergency Medicine, working in fast-paced emergency departments in both Nevada and Kansas. He then became the head of Emergency Medical Services in Nye County, Nevada. Emergency medicine provided him with diverse skill sets and the ability to treat varied populations in urgent situations. Dr. Bady then became the CEO/Medical Director/Consultant of multiple health care companies in California, Nevada, Kansas, Germany, UK, and Haiti.
He has been integral in creating health systems and managing complex medical practices. He has served as medical director for some of the world’s largest healthcare systems and an Executive Board Member of DaVita/HealthCarePartners. This has allowed him to lead thousands of team members, and health care providers, to a national comprehensive health care system and management. He is one of the founders and the Chief Medical Officer of Grey Dove Inc., a non-profit organization.
His knowledge of disease processes has greatly informed his ability to use the most advanced technologies to treat illness and injury. He is dedicated to disease prevention and assisting his patients in maintaining optimal wellness. Dr. Bady received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences. An Osteopathic program that emphasizes in holistic management of patients health. This gives him a unique perspective on age and regenerative medicine. He has also attended USC Marshall School of Business for leadership. He then expanded his knowledge in plant-based medicine and has studied Ayurvedic Medicine at Vaidygrama Hospital in Coimbatore, India. Dr. Bady brings his wealth of experience to CELLAXYS as Medical Director.
